GULF COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Another local community is starting to get concerned about red tide.

Dead marine life is cropping up along the Cape San Blas shoreline in Gulf County.

Officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said the last sample they took Friday showed no concentration of red tide in the county.

However, they will be taking a new sample Wednesday.

Officials said right now there is no concern for scallop season or for those who want to spend some time at the beach.
