TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Florida Health Department of Health has released the latest coronavirus COVID-19 numbers for Thursday.
Florida has 48,675 cases reported, 47,381 are Floridians and 1,294 are not Florida residents.
Health officials say 2,144 people have died from the virus in the state.
Bay County is reporting 87 cases. This includes 85 residents and two non-residents. Their ages range from 2 to 93 years-old. Three people have died from the virus and 13 people have been hospitalized.
Okaloosa County is reporting 184 cases. This includes 175 residents, one Floridian in another state, and eight non-residents. Their ages range from 0 to 96 years-old. Six people have died from the virus and 31 people have had to be hospitalized.
Walton County is reporting 97 cases. 83 of the cases are residents and 14 are not from Florida. Their ages range between 7 to 101 years-old. Seven deaths from the virus has been reported and 16 people have had to be hospitalized.
Washington County is reporting 19 cases. All 19 are residents. Their ages range between 24 to 81 years-old. Two people have been hospitalized and one person has died in the county.
Holmes County has 14 cases. All of the cases are residents and they range between 16 months and 73 years-old. There has been one hospitalization in Holmes County reported.
Jackson County is reporting 173 cases. There are 168 local cases and five are non-Florida residents. The cases range from 4 to 82 years-old. Ten people has been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported.
Calhoun County is reporting 41 cases, all are local. The ages range from 20 to 99 years-old. There has been two deaths reported. Officials say four have been hospitalized for the virus.
Gulf County is reporting one case, a local. The woman is 42 years-old. There have been no deaths or hospitalizations in Gulf County reported.
Franklin County is reporting two cases. Health officials say one person is a 25 year-old woman from New York and the other is a 60 year-old woman who is a resident.
Liberty County is reporting 199 cases of COVID-19. All 199 are residents. The ages range from 20 to 73 years-old. No one has been hospitalized from the virus in this county.
