FLORIDA, (WJHG/WECP) - The Florida Department of Health says as of Wednesday morning, there are 215 new cases of COVID-19 in Florida. This brings the total number of cases to 1,682.
The FDOH says 1,583 of the confirmed cases are in Florida residents and 99 of the confirmed cases are in non-Florida residents.
There are now 12 cases in Walton County,16 in Okaloosa County, and three in Bay County.
There are two new deaths as of Wednesday morning bringing the total number of deaths in Florida to 22. One death was in Pasco County and one was in Sarasota County.
