Florida Governor gives Young Entrepreneur Award to Panama City business owner

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WJHG/WECP)-- The owner of a Panama City car business has received a big award from Florida Governor Rick Scott.

Tyler Montgomery, 25, was given the Young Entrepreneur Award by the Governor during a Florida Cabinet meeting Tuesday in Tallahassee.

Montgomery owns Mont Motorsports, which fabricates, builds and sells aftermarket performance parts and vehicles. Mont Motorsports was founded in 2015.

“I’m honored to receive the Governor’s Young Entrepreneur Award today," said Montgomery. "At Mont Motorsports, we work hard to create a strong relationship with our customers and provide a marketplace that offers thousands of performance parts, all in one location. Thanks to the support of my team and customers, we continue to succeed and grow in the Panama City area.”
