Former WWE star speaks to students about bullying

FREEPORT, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A former WWE star is using his differences to make a difference in children's lives.

Chris "Little Boogeyman" Hollyfield was born with dwarfism and was often ridiculed for his size.

For the last 20, years the wrestler has traveled around the country educating students on bullying and the effects it can have. He uses his story to help bring awareness to bullying.

"It's a bigger impact for me in my life to see that you're making a difference, you're making a change within a child that may be hurting but nobody knows about it or they never said anything to anybody about their hurt inside," said Hollyfield.

Brianna Leavins, an interventionist at Freeport Middle School, said, "We try here to try to encourage them to be the kind kid, to do something nice for somebody every day, to accept that everyone's different and embrace what makes someone unique so I think his message today really hit home with that."

Hollyfield went on to say he hopes to come back to the area and speak more on the topic.
