BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center received a generous donation Saturday morning.

Carolina Coastal Community Hurricane Relief Fund visited the center to present them with over $30,000 from their on-going fundraiser.

The center celebrated by embarking on a day of service and traveled around the area to provide relief to community members in need.

Since March of 2000, the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center (Gulf Coast CAC) has transformed the lives of victims of child abuse and sexual violence by offering a refuge for victims and their families to cope with the terrible crimes of child abuse and sexual assault while reducing the fear and further trauma that disclosure and investigation often creates.
