Police search for two suspects after shooting Tuesday night

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE 10/09/2019 11:07 a.m.:

Panama City Police are looking for two people involved in a home invasion robbery that left one person injured.

Police say they responded to a FEMA Park on Gregory Street and found a 32 year-old man with a gunshot in the leg. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for a non-life threatening injury.

Police believe the shooting is connected to an attempted home invasion robbery.

The suspects are described as two black men in their late teens to early 20s. One of them is said to have small dreads and was wearing a dark colored Nike tracksuit. The other is described as having short hair, no shirt on, and gray sweat shorts.

Panama City Police say the shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, near Kraft Avenue.

One person is injured but officials say they believe the injuries are non-life-threatening.

Police are currently looking for the gunman.
