Health advisory issued for Garniers Park and Marler Park

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP)- The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County has issued a health advisory for Garniers Park of Fort Walton Beach and Marler Park of
Okaloosa Island.

Health officials say that this is because the limit of enteric bacteria or enterococci has been exceeded.

Enteric bacteria is an indication of fecal pollution according to the health officials and pose a health risk for swimmers.
