PONCE DE LEON, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man is facing charges for stealing a calf.
Stephen Grecco, 41, allegedly stole a calf out of the pasture of a cattle company in Ponce de Leon.
Holmes County Sheriff's officials say they found the calf tied to the front steps of Grecco's mobile home. He reportedly told deputies he found the cow walking down the road and didn't know it belonged to anyone.
Based on footprints at the scene, Grecco was arrested and charged with grand theft of a farm animal.
