Jackson County Sheriff's Office wants your unused/expired medications

MARIANNA, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Saturday, April 27th marks National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office is offering a drop off point for residents.

Deputies along with the Drug Enforcement Administration will be collecting any unused or out-of-date prescription medication from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jackson County Sheriff's Office located at 4012 Lafayette Street in Marianna.

This is a safe way to dispose of unwanted or expired medications and helps protect children from accidentally finding and taking them.
