Joe Moody Harris Park suffers massive tree loss

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Joe Moody Harris Park in Panama City lost 97 percent of its trees after Hurricane Michael.

The park is now covered with 1,288 stumps that once used to be luscious trees.

ReTreePC has taken on the park as one of its focuses for bringing trees back to Panama City. They plan to plant more than 100,000 trees over the course of the next five years.

They plan to plant trees in areas like Joe Moody Harris Park.
