PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A juvenile has been arrested and charged in the murder of Jesus Ivan Barreiro-Cruz.

Cristian Gonzalez-Solorzano, 17, was arrested and charged with an Open Count of Murder.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office say Solorzano was missing from the trailer park where Cruz's body was found since Sunday. He had been seen with a firearm and was trying to sell it.

Bay County Sheriff's deputies made contact with Solorzano Tuesday at Panavilla Garden Apartments where they say Solorzano told them the shooting was accidental.

However, his description of the incident did not match the forensic evidence gathered at the scene.

Solorzano is the second person who has been arrested in connection to the death.

Adolfo Mancilla Cuevas, 40, was previously arrested and charged with accessory after the fact for murder.

Solorzano was taken to the Department of Juvenille Justice. Authorities recovered the firearm they believe to be the murder weapon.
