PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) Krispy Kreme Donuts hosted a drive-thru with free donuts for the graduating class of 2020, and cars were lined up at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. The line was so long that Krispy Kreme Assistant General Manager Jonathan French said the cops threatened to shut them down.

“They are staying at home with nothing to do, and they can't walk the stage, so why not have free donuts?... It's been like this since six o'clock this morning. It hasn't slowed down, and I don't see it stopping... It's been crazy all day,” said French.
French says they've had graduates from high school, Gulf Coast, and Florida State come through flashing their tassels and graduation gear, and says they are so happy to be able to give the graduates something to congratulate them on their accomplishments.
