PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The new Bay City Point shopping complex project at the corner of 23rd Street and M.L.K. has begun clearing land now that the permits have been approved.
At their meeting in April, Panama City Commissioners cleared the last hurdle by approving an incentives package for the project.
The phase one section will have six out parcel units which will be the first units to be occupied. Once this section is completely operational, the remaining section will then be built.
Project developers say more than 300 jobs are expected to be created from the Bay City Point project.
