PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Law enforcement is continuing to seek the public's help in finding the suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Panama City Beach Wednesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Shannon Smith, 39, of Fort Pierce was standing in the northbound lane of Tarpon Street when a vehicle turning left from Surf Drive onto Tarpon Street struck him.
The vehicle, identified as a possible 2004 to 2008 Infiniti G-35, then fled the scene.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
