Local pharmacy offering car-side pick-ups to maintain social distancing

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - With the spread of the coronavirus across the country, businesses are having to reevaluate the way they operate.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Mullins Pharmacy in Lynn Haven is offering car-side pick-up. (WJHG/WECP)

That’s the case for Mullins Pharmacy in Lynn Haven.

The pharmacy is no longer allowing customers inside the building, instead they are offering car side pick-ups.

Not only will pharmacy employees bring your prescriptions to your car, but they will also bring you any of the pharmacy’s products including over-the-counter drugs and other items.

Lauren Parker, a pharmacist at Mullins Pharmacy, said, ”People kind of tend to pile up and we didn’t want that to happen. We wanted to take care of everyone the best that we could and so this was the alternative and this is what we decided would be best- is to keep the distance and still take care of people the best that we could.”

The drive-through is being offered during the pharmacy’s normal operating hours which are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Staff say they are busy so it’s best to call ahead with your pick-ups.
