The Lucky Puppy Dog Rescue held its tenth annual "spay-ghetti" lunch and silent auction.

All of the money raised from the event goes towards spay and neutering rescue dogs, and dogs in the community for people who can't afford it.

Lucky Puppy Rescue director Teri Mattson says this fundraiser is an important part of helping those help dogs in the community.

"It's very important, the only way really to stop over-population is to prevent more litters being born that we can't find homes for," said Mattson.

Lucky Puppy is also in need of volunteers and donations to help with its operations.
