Lynn Haven reimbursed nearly $5 million from FEMA grant

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Lynn Haven will receive nearly $5 million from FEMA's Public Assistance Program.

FEMA is reimbursing the city for $4,999,306 for the cost of debris removal after Hurricane Michael. The money will reimburse the cost of collection, reduction, disposal, and site management of debris within Lynn Haven.

This is the second part of the payment of an Expedited Project. The first 50 percent of this grant was given to the city in May.

They say the grant given totals $9,998,612.
