Lynn Haven to get FEMA money to help with debris removal costs

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Monday, FEMA announced nearly $5 million going to Lynn Haven to help with debris removal after Hurricane Michael under FEMA's Public Assistance Program.

FEMA says the $4,999,306 will reimburse Lynn Haven for collection, reduction, disposal, and site management of debris within the city after the hurricane in October.

FEMA says this is an "Expedited Project," which is given at 50 percent of eligible costs incurred and the other 50 percent of the grant is awarded once applicants provide all supporting documentation for the project. The total will be about $9,850,243.
