Man seriously injured in Holmes County school bus crash

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. A man is seriously injured after a school bus crash in Holmes County Tuesday morning. .

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Holmes County school bus was heading west on County Road 160 at about 7 a.m. when it began a left turn onto County Road 177. This violated the right away of a Ford Ranger travelling north. The front of the truck collided with the left side of the bus.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, Jason French, 42, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Officials say there were nine children on board the school bus at the time of the crash. None reported any injuries.
