OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man has been found guilty of human sex trafficking of a child in Okaloosa County.

Anthony Miles' fate was sealed Wednesday. He will be sentenced in January and faces up to life in prison.

Miles put advertisements on BackPage that featured pictures of a minor that were sexually explicit. The ad offered services for a fee. The wording of the ad suggested sexual services and drugs involved.

Miles recruited the victim and gave drugs to the child. Miles also arranged for hotel rooms at different places where he would keep the child and set up appointments with people seeking sexual favors. Miles also threatened the victim with violence if the child didn't listen to Miles.

The victim was able to escape when a person working with Miles left her unattended at a gas station.

Two other people are facing charges in connection with this case. De'Jion Kimbrough and Chloe Smith are awaiting trial.
