Good Monday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar with clear skies overhead. We'll have a beautiful sunny morning commute ahead but temperatures are downright chilly for some!
The I-10 corridor started out with 30s, temps were closer to the upper 40s down along the coast at sunrise. A cold front is passing through the Panhandle this morning bringing the temperature difference. It'll help to keep our afternoon highs today, even under abundant sunshine, only in the upper 60s near 70 for a seasonally cool day.
High pressure slides in behind this front bringing more sunshine and clear skies through midweek. However, as is the case with this time of year, another front will be on the way.
Doesn't look like rain will be of big concern with this next front, despite the fact that we could use it with some locations in the Panhandle in an abnormally dry state. Timing of this front looks to be Thursday night into early Friday morning. So unless timing changes, looks like the rain will not disturb any of our daylight hours.
For today, abundant sunshine with seasonally cool highs in the upper 60s. Your VIPIR 7 Day forecast will have temps rebounding toward seasonal through midweek with more sunshine in the immediate future.
