Good Monday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on radar this morning with clear skies overhead. We'll see a gorgeous sunny day unfold in our skies today. However, dress warmly for this morning! Temperatures are chilly outside for April as we're waking up in the upper 40s to low 50s. We'll need the extra layer likely through the mid morning as we stay in the 50s until 10am. Highs today are seasonally cool under the sunshine but pleasant in the low 70s for most. Seasonal highs in mid April reach the mid to upper 70s.
We'll see those northerly winds continue to stay slightly breezy through the morning, but gradually backing off into the afternoon. Yet they'll still stay northerly tonight and usher in another cool night under the starry skies where temperatures will return to the upper 40s to low 50s. That's actually a few degrees below our seasonal average around the mid 50s for April mornings.
The early start to this week is the better part of the week, with more sunshine ahead under high pressure for Tuesday and Wednesday. But we will start to see temperatures warm back up and with the return of the warmth will also come some more clouds. That'll lead to our next storm system moving through Thursday into Friday, where we'll watch for another batch of strong to severe storms likely move through.
For today, abundant sunshine with a slightly breezy northerly wind this morning backing off into the afternoon. We'll have seasonally cool highs today in the low to mid 70s. Your 7 Day Forecast features a great start to the week in our skies with seasonally cool conditions into Tuesday before we rebound through the midweek.
