PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Tuesday, Mosley High School seniors would have walked across the stage to collect their diplomas.

But while they couldn’t walk in front of friends and family, they could ride along with them.

School staff organized a senior parade, where many dressed up in their caps and gowns to mark this milestone in their lives.

Students drove by their teachers and staff through the school’s parking lots, where they were given prizes and lots of sweet treats.

"Their year has been disrupted just like everybody else's, but it's tough when it's your senior year. They've missed out prom, they've missed out on our Grad Bash trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, you know. They just missed out on a lot of rights of passages for the seniors so it's just nice to be able to do something special for the class of 2020,” said Principal Brian Bullock.

There are around 400 students in Mosley’s senior class and staff tells us they believe they got to see a good amount of students drive through.
