Niceville High School student arrested for reportedly threatening to shoot another student

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A Niceville High School student was arrested Thursday after threatening to shoot another student.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office officials say the boy, 15, is charged with threatening to use a firearm in a violent manner.

They say he and another student argued at school about an off-campus incident at the victim's home.

According to officials, "after the victim confronted the defendant, the defendant yelled, 'I am going to shoot you.'"

They also say several witnesses heard the statement.
