The Oyster Bash is put on every year by the Man of the Sea Museum.

They had about 200 bags of oysters there, and Shuckum's was there shucking the oysters. They had live music and beer, along with all you can eat oysters.

"We're trying to preserve all of the artifacts with the museum, and then also support our Navy divers here. They have a Master Diver Navy reunion that happens here, and a lot of what has taken place in our Gulf of Mexico, is actually at that museum right now," said Jean McDougall, the event coordinator of Oyster Bash.

All proceeds from the event go to the Man of the Sea Museum.
