Operation Spring Cleaning leads to 8 arrests

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Men who deputies say thought they were talking to underage girls had a surprise when they went to meet them.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies arrested seven men who they said solicited who they thought was an underage girl and one man who thought he was meeting an underage boy. It was part of Operation Spring Cleaning.

Deputies say these men were communicating with investigators. When the men agreed to meet who they thought was an underage teen, they were actually met by deputies.

Arrested were:
Christian Eberle, 26, of Fort Walton Beach
Sandor Spitzmuller, 27, of Destin
Bryan Weinstein, 26, of Fort Walton Beach
Dakota Ford, 22, of Mary Esther
Pedro Aldana-Aldana, 43, of Gulfport, Mississippi
Robert Watter, 63, of Fort Walton Beach
Robert Murphy, 79, Mary Esther
Matthew Stevens

The arrests were all made between April 10th and April 15th. The charges include use of a computer to solicit a minor, traveling to meet a minor for sex, and use of a two way communication device to commit a felony.

Weinstein is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
