Panama City Port Authority raises its tariff

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) The Panama City Port Authority raised its tariff's by three percent during its meeting Thursday.

Officials say they adjusted the tariff to help cover wages. However, they wanted to keep their prices close to the year before.

During the meeting, officials also made plans to make improvements to the East Terminal. Officials say they're working to get the terminal open by the end of this year.
