PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - As Panama City continues its cleanup efforts the city commission has voted to help several private cemeteries with the removal of debris.

Two private cemeteries in the community are still in need of debris removal to make them safe for families and friends visiting the deceased. The cemeteries affected are Hillside Cemetery on 23rd Street and Redwood Cemetery on Redwood Avenue.

Because the cemeteries have not had any improvement for more than six months the City can get reimbursed for the cost of cleaning and removal of debris.
