PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Come October 11, Panama City officials are ready to start cracking down on code enforcement.

The Panama City Commission decided to add three new Magistrate Judges Tuesday along with the one they already had. They say this is so they can deal with code enforcement cases that make their way to a magistrate in a more timely manner.

The city will be sending out violation notices soon to give citizens and businesses a chance to fix the violation before having to go before a judge.
