Advisory lifted for Massalina Bayou

Parts of Massalina Bayou are under advisory after a report of 220 gallons of raw sewage was spilled.

Panama City officials say the spill was because of a power failure at a lift station at 530 E 6th Street in Panama City.

The Florida Department of Health in Bay County, DOH-Bay, advises against swimming in Massalina Bayou from the E 6th Street to E 4th Street.

Clean up actions are complete and once levels are safe, the advisory will be lifted.
