Peace 4 Pets is a community outreach program that Heather Williamson's 2nd grade class is doing this year.

The class is taking donations to drop off at local animal shelters.

So far, they have collected $518.

The class will be collecting donations through spring break and want the community to get involved as well.

Williamson said they are looking for, "Blankets, money, anything. You can check the wish list online at Alaqua, Lucky Puppy and of the animal rescues, the Humane Society, they all have wish lists on things that they need."

Donations can be dropped off at the school or you can donate online through the West Bay Elementary Facebook page.
