Man critically injured, Police searching for hit and run suspect


FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Fort Walton Beach Police are asking for your help identifying the suspect in a hit-and-run crash on March 6.

They say just before 8 p.m. that night Jeffrey Allen Foxx was hit by an SUV on Beal Parkway at the intersection of Comet Street Southwest while he was trying to cross the road.

According to police, as the driver of the SUV was getting out to check on Foxx lying in the road, a motorcycle went by and hit Foxx again.

They say the motorcycle left the scene.

Foxx is in critical condition at a local hospital. Anyone with information is asked to contact Traffic Homicide Investigator Ben Crawford at 833-9546.
