MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is closing to non-residential guests on Monday, March 23 and will remain closed until April 6.

The resort said they will be assessing the closure on a weekly basis after April 6.

The resort said they will not be accepting reservation for that time but will be accepting reservations after that time period, with the understanding that they may have to stay closed longer and if that is the case, the reservations can be moved to a later date or refunded.

Any reservations made for the time period until April 6th can be moved to a later date or refunded.

The resort said they will not be forcing in-house guests to leave, but if they do choose to leave they will be refunded for the remainder of their stay.

The resort's private beach, the Beach Club beach, clubhouse, and pool are closed effective immediately.

There will be essential personnel in reservations and at the front desk to help with checkouts and transitioning guests off property.
