PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Bring a toy to school, get out of class. Sounds like a good deal, right?
That was the trade-off for Bay High School students Wednesday morning when the Stuff the Bus school bus came to campus.
Students who gave a toy or five-dollar donation got out of class to enjoy a pancake and sausage breakfast, while helping a great cause.
The goal, as said in its name, is to stuff a school bus with toys, shoes, and food.
The bus will be collecting toys at Twisted Suspension on West 23rd Street in Panama City from December 3rd to December 13th.
"Come by the bus when it's parked at Twisted Suspension. Bring the toy, bring the family down. There will be live entertainment every day, there'll be guest people stopping in and out, and to talk, and just stop by. You know, be a part of the community. Give, give, give, because that's what the real reason of the season for, other than Jesus' birthday," Logan Flint, Bay High teacher and club sponsor for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Fellowship of Christian Students, said.
The bus will also make an appearance in the Jaycees Christmas Parade December 2nd.
