Teens wanted after stealing truck, gun

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Holmes County Sheriff's Deputies are searching for two teenagers after they stole a vehicle and a gun.

Deputies say Elanie Alday, 16, and Alex Baker, 15, ran away from their homes sometime between Saturday 11 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. Deputies say this is the third time these teens have run away, but now they're facing charges.

A family member told deputies the teens took a pick-up truck and a 9mm handgun. They said Baker called family members later to tell them where he left the gun.

Deputies believe the teens are heading to Louisiana.

The truck the teens are driving is described as a blue, four-door 2003 Dodge Ram with a dent in the front driver's side bumper and some tailgate damage.

Alday is described as a white female with dark brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes. She is about 5'7" in height and weighs between 100 and 105 pounds. She was last seen wearing pajamas.

Baker is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5'9" and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a turquoise American Eagle shirt, a pair of jeans with a hole in the right knee, and green boots.

Both teens are charged with grant theft of a vehicle and grand theft of a firearm.
