The Great Create is hosted by Floriopolis every year to bring artists in the community together.

The three-day event wraps up Sunday afternoon. The event has everything from painting to cooking.

Although it's usually held at the Floriopolis building, it's being held at the creative director's house this year because the building was damaged by Hurricane Michael.

Heather Parker, the Creative Director for Floriopolis, said, "We have a real neighborhood, kind of homey, feel to it. And my main goal for The Great Create is to get the different members of the creative community to meet others and connect and find their commonalities."

Donna Burgess, the owner of Donna Burgess Gallery, said, "This group of creatives encourages cooperation with the artists and different mediums - the music, gives us a safe place to come, and be creative."

If you would like to attend the event on Sunday, you can call Heather Parker at (850) 249-9295 to get her address.
