Good Thursday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels showing radar this morning where a stray shower or storm may still move onto the Forgotten Coast before 10am today.
It's a bit of an active morning on radar for some of us. Basically the same places that have seen rain for the past couple days will be under the gun again for a few morning showers or thunderstorms. Folks heading out early this morning along the Forgotten Coast will want to go ahead and grab the umbrella. But rain chances should wrap up for the day after 9 or 10am.
Otherwise, we're starting out fairly pleasant in the low 70s with even some 60s back to the far west. Highs today will still be quite warm in the upper 80s to low 90s.
We've got some changes afoot in the forecast today! We'll finally see this stalled out frontal boundary push to the Southeast of the Panhandle this morning. Skies open up to beautiful sunshine heading into the afternoon even as another front moves into the Panhandle.
However, this front is associated with more drier, less humid, air and will not have any rain chances associated with it. You may even notice by the evening hours today a slightly less humid feel! That will lead toward temperatures tumbling into the 60s overnight tonight and a less humid, sunny, yet still warm day on Friday as high pressure builds into the Southeast.
That high will keep us nice and sunny through much of the weekend with only limited chances for a stray afternoon sea breeze storm to develop as humidity gradually returns Saturday afternoon and into Father's Day Sunday. There'll be plenty of time to do outdoor activities with dad this weekend! Enjoy!
For today, skies turn mostly sunny after a few morning showers. Highs reach up to near 90°. Your 7 Day Forecast brings in a beautiful sunny and slightly less humid Friday, as well as, a great weekend for Dads with mostly sunny skies and only a stray shot at an afternoon storm.
