OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A woman riding a bicycle topless down Highway 98 was charged with retail theft.

Okaloosa County Sheriff's Deputies say Courtney Backes, 32, took flip flops and a shirt from Surfside Outfitters on Miracle Strip Parkway Thursday and left on her bicycle.

A deputy found the woman later that night riding her bicycle topless down the center of Highway 98. The deputy pulled up to Backes and asked her to stop, to which she reportedly replied, "Make me."

The deputy pulled up in front of the woman as she tried to pedal past.

Deputies say they found the stolen items.
