Tuesday Forecast

Good Tuesday morning everyone!

It's a much quieter day on satellite and radar over NWFL with just a few high clouds cruising through. We'll be off to a mainly sunny morning so be sure to grab the shades and get ready for a hot one!

Temperatures are starting out in the mid 70s for most away from the coast this morning to upper 70s near 80 on the coast. Summer may be coming to a close after this week, but today will be a toasty one on the thermometer! Highs reach the low to mid 90s on the coast to upper 90s near 100° inland! And with just a little humidity around, feels like temperatures reach the low triple digits.

We'll get to see plenty of sunshine to help with that heat today and for most of the day tomorrow before we see a pattern change ahead. A cold front is slowly moving down into the Southeast and by Wednesday night into Thursday morning we'll see it move through with a few showers possible. Otherwise, we'll finally get some heat relief and some less humid air as highs return to seasonal average in the upper 80s.

Tropical Update...
We're still at a likely chance for a depression to develop out of the wave in the Mid-Atlantic. However, it's a very slow mover and we may not see it approach the Bahamas until possibly next week before it will likely turn to the north away from land.

Humberto continues to trek northeast as a Cat1 but some strengthening will continue today to possibly a Cat2 or weak Cat3 before passing north of Bermuda by Thursday and heading to the North Atlantic away from land.

A broad area of low pressure continues to stir up soaking showers and thunderstorms this morning off the coast of Louisiana and Texas. Regardless of development, locally heavy rains will be the main concern along the Texas Coast through the end of this week.

Bottom Line...
For today, abundant sunshine with very hot temperatures in the afternoon. Highs reach the low to mid 90s on the coast with upper 90s around 100° inland this afternoon and feels like temperatures in the low triple digits. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us running hot for one more day before a cold front changes up the heat and humidity for the end of the week and into the weekend.
