Good Tuesday morning everyone!
Meteorologist Ryan Michaels showing the freezing feels like temperatures this morning.
It's a quiet start on satellite and radar this morning with clear skies overhead once again. Plenty of sunshine is expected over the southeast today. But a big chill is awaiting you out the door this morning.
If you thought yesterday morning was cold...we're 5-10 degrees colder this morning! Just about everyone is waking up in the 30s this morning. In fact, many across the I-10 corridor may be dealing with a light freeze as some patchy frost will be possible heading out the door. Again, not for everyone, but more likely for those along and north of Highway 20. And if the thermometer doesn't tell you it's a freezing start, well a light wisp of wind could have you feeling like it with wind chills in the upper 20s inland to low 30s on the coast.
Dress warmly once again today as we'll only slowly warm through the 40s on the morning commute. Temperatures reach the 50s by the late morning, and we'll only top out in the upper 50s this afternoon. So keep the heavier jackets close by for any outdoor travels.
Our beautiful sunshine turns into clear skies once again tonight and with winds backing off to a gentle breeze from the north, we'll return to the 30s or low 40s for the beaches. However, I think more of us will avoid a freezing start to our Wednesday with the only exception of our typical cooler spots like Crestview and DFS.
We'll finally get a rebound in our temperatures as the upper level trough bringing the colder air pulls out throughout the day. Highs return to the upper 60s Wednesday afternoon with plenty of sunshine once again.
For today, abundant sunshine with chilly temperatures throughout the day as highs only reach the upper 50s. Your 7 Day Forecast keeps us running cold for one more night before rebounding temperatures head our way through the rest of the week.
