Two Men and a Truck donates to recovery program to celebrate Mother's Day

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A local business is celebrating Mother's Day by giving back to moms in need.

The Evers House is dedicated to helping moms recover from addiction so they can be with their children again.

Two men and a Truck collected donations to be delivered to the Evers House program to celebrate the moms working to be sober for their kids. They delivered the donations Friday morning, just in time for Mother's Day weekend.

Lisa Nixon Mabry, Marketing Director for Two Men and a Truck, said, "It's important for us to give back to the community who supports us throughout the year and moms are the center of everything for our families and so it's really important to support them and make sure that they know that they're loved and supported by the community."

The founder of the Evers House, Cathy McClellan, said she couldn't be more thankful for the donations.
