Two adults, two children injured after crash in Bay County

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Four people are injured, including two children, after a crash in Bay County Thursday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Shannon Martin, 32, of Destin was driving westbound on County Road 388, near Burnt Mill Creek Road at around 7 p.m.

Christopher Still, 27, a ten year old, and a six year old were also in the car. Martin tried to make a left turn when the car ran off the road. The right rear side of the car side-swiped a utility pole. The car then continued moving and hit two large trees.

Martin and the two children were taken to Bay Medical Sacred Heart with serious injuries. Still was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with critical injuries.

Charges are pending an investigation.
