UPDATE: Foul play not suspected in Sneads death investigation

SNEADS, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE: September 26, 2017 (2pm)

Officials with the Sneads Police Department say the medical examiner has officially ruled out any foul play in the death of 37-year-old Charles Adam Cheaney.

Cheaney was found dead Sunday around 6:30pm inside a home on Dalemberte Street. Reports say Sneads Police Chief Burt McAlpin thought the victim's death may be suspicious after noticing the position of Cheaney's body and some of the items surrounding him.

Officers say they're waiting for the toxicology reports to come back, but it's been determined Cheaney's death was not a homicide or a suicide.

Sources tell us the victim is a man in his 30's.
