WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Nancy and her two daughters - Willow and Zoe - were like many in Walton County, trying to find an affordable place to call home. Until
Habitat for Humanity, Warrick Dunn Charities, and furniture company Aaron’s stepped in to help.

Dunn, who played football for Florida State University and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, started Homes for the Holidays to fulfill his own mother's dream of owning a home.
"You can break cycles, you can provide a better opportunity in the future for kids, I think that's where it starts is stable housing, and when you can solve that problem, you can solve a lot of other issues in the community," said Dunn.
Nancy and her daughters are not only getting a new house - it also comes fully furnished, including new computers.
"I don't want that to hang over their heads, anything that has happened to them. I don't want them to think they are limited," said Nancy.
"I just wanted to break down and cry, because everything I do is for them," Nancy said.
After living in Freeport and having a long commute to work, Nancy said this new house will help ease her burdens.
"A lot closer to work, and to the girls, it’s going to be a lot less stress," she said.
