While Walton County Emergency Management officials say they're not too worried about the storm, they believe this is a good "wet" dry run so people to know how to prepare for future storms.
They say they're not expecting a whole lot of impacts from the storm, but they are continuously watching the system.
"We're really just expecting a lot of rain, maybe a little bit of wind, it's not gonna be fun to be outside but just take this opportunity again to evaluate your plan, evaluate your kit, maybe dust off the board games, have a good family board game night for a couple of days and then after that we should be able to return right back to normal," said Chris Eliadis, the operations coordinator for Walton County Emergency Management.
