Springfield police: Woman in stable condition after being stabbed three times

SPRINGFIELD, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - According to the Springfield Police Department, a 44-year-old woman is in stable condition after being stabbed in the chest three times Sunday night.

Officers say they responded to Bob Little Road just after 7 p.m. Sunday in reference to a stabbing.

They say they victim said Samuel Solomon stabbed her and he fled on foot.

Officers say while Solomon was running through yards, a homeowner ordered him to the ground at gunpoint.

Officers arrived and took him into custody where he was booked into the Bay County Jail and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
