Graceville takes its undefeated record on the road to St. Joe Friday

GRACEVILLE, FL (WJHG/WECP) The Graceville Tigers are off to a very good start to the season and they are hoping that trend continues Friday when they travel south to face Port St. Joe in a couple of nights.

The Tigers taking their perfect four and oh mark to face the Sharks, who are 2-3.

Coach Gardner and his Tigers with wins Bay, Chipley, Holmes and Bozeman, the combined score in those four games, 90 to 8!

So this Graceville team is dominating their opponents!

"A lot of hard work, the kids are really getting after it. And you've got to cut down on some mental mistakes, but other than that it's been a pretty good season so far. (Question) What's impressed you most about this team so far? How hard we're playing in the games. We got a little better in the weight room, we're a little better in shape. And we're playing hard during the games."

As for taking on the Sharks, who are 2-3, well that team's record won't cause the Tigers to take St. Joe lightly. Coach Gardner will make sure of that.

"They are fast, well-coached and they can hit. It will be our biggest challenge of the year so far. Like I said they're very quick. And they will hit you. (QUESTION) What's the message to the team this week? No turnovers and keep them in front of you."

That game Friday set for 7:30 eastern, and it's one of several we'll feature on Friday Night Overtime.
