South Florida teens raise money for Hurricane Michael recovery efforts in Mexico Beach

Many people are taking action to help those impacted by Hurricane Michael, but some of those making a difference are teenagers.

As Monday marks two months since Hurricane Michael devastated our area, Mexico Beach city officials say the city is making progress.

Santa Claus can't deliver toys to all of the good girls and boys alone. The same goes for "Salvage Santa." That's where local Boy Scout troops come in.

The parade kicked off around 5 p.m. and some familiar NewsChannel 7 faces were among those walking and passing out candy.
