Multiple people arrested in Jackson County dine and dash

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Three people are facing charges after an alleged dine-and-dash turned into finding drugs in a car.
A Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy was flagged down by a restaurant owner during a routine patrol Thursday night near the Highway 71 and Highway 90 intersection. The owner claimed three people didn’t pay for their food and drove off in a white car on Highway 71. The deputy went down the highway and saw a car that matched the description, then pulled it over. They say the driver, Cody Plamondon, ran away but was arrested shortly after.
Plamondon claimed he didn’t have a license, but deputies found out later it was reportedly expired and suspended. Plamondon said he had several warrants out of Georgia, including probation violation, various theft, and assault.
The two passengers, Lawren Green and Autumn Bramblett, were spoken to by another deputy. Officials say Bramblett originally gave a false name, but was later correctly identified.
A K-9 was released and positively alerted to narcotics being in the car. After deputies searched the vehicle, they reportedly found drug paraphernalia that field-tested positive for meth.
Plamondon was charged with resisting a law enforcement officer, driving with a suspended license, and fugitive from justice for Georgia warrants.
Bramblett was charged with providing a false name to law enforcement.
Green was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
